On January 8, 2013 Kevin, a resident of Doylestown, had an accident that caused a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Kevin had to have lifesaving brain surgery at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia Pa. Kevin was at that hospital for 12 days then transferred to Moss Rehab. He is waiting to have a second surgery to replace 30% of his skull. Kevin also has a very long road ahead of him as far as learning how to live again. Kevin is very lucky to have his sister Lynde who will take him home with her when he is discharged from the Rehab. Kevin does not have insurance and will need constant care for a long and unknown period of time.

On 3/10/13, there was a fundraiser at the Amber Inn in Doylestown Pa. to help raise money for Kevin’s ongoing care. For those of you who know and love Kevin for the wonderful person that he is, we need your help.

Both Lynde and her husband, Chris, work full-time jobs and have two children. Financially it is going to be very hard on them. Any help that you can offer to this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated. Cash donations can be Mailed to: Valerie Rockett, PO Box 541, Sellersville, PA 18960.
All benefits from this event will be deposited into a segregated and auditable account for Kevin’s ongoing care and administered by Kevin’s sister, Mrs. Lynde Kearns.
