Take Me With You Teaser 1

4 Rockin Stars

I am a big fan of K.A. Linde’s books.  She keeps me wanting more from all of her characters.   Typically, K.A. Linde is one of the queens of angst… this one was not as angsty of a story for me  -which is not a problem for me.   I enjoyed that it was a lighter read.  I usually love and hate a good angsty story, but sometimes my heart and mind can only take so much!  It is nice to be able to get a little break from that once in a while.
You have to love a once “bad boy” turned to the “good” side when he finds the right girl.  I know this is done a lot and people do not believe it as realistic, but as I have said before, I personally can say that I have seen it and lived it so these stories to not get old to me.
Grant….I really do love my rockers!  Not much more I can say about him.  He certainly did not disappoint in this book, and you can really fall in love with this character.  The chemistry and connection between Grant and Ari cannot be denied – and Linde, once again, will give you some steamy scenes.
Ari is one of those “good” girls, from a prominent and wealthy family, too focused on her grades and has to have everything planned out in her life.  But, when you fall in love with a rocker who is on the road to fame….. can they make it work?  You will have to read to find out if these two from two different worlds can find one common world to live and love in.
Last note, don’t forget how book one ended, you will get a little bit of suspense in this one when it comes to Grant’s dad.  I know that I did not seeing it turning out the way that it did….
I really enjoyed these books and the journey of Grant and Ari.  Make sure to check them out!  I can’t wait to see what is next from Linde!

Excerpt

Grant practically bounded across the room until he was directly in front of me. Then, his hands were cupping my cheeks so tenderly that it was as if he thought I might break in half. Without a word, his mouth dropped down on mine, and the kiss was as light as a feather. It was a question, a soft and delicate question, one he had never asked before—permission.
When I didn’t pull away from him, he received his answer. The kiss deepened, and he coaxed all the anger out of me. He drew it out as if sucking venom from an open wound. He kissed me so heatedly and lovingly that not even a drop remained. All that was left was a bottomless well of emotions of how much I loved and missed him.
When I came back into the moment, I heard the catcalls and yells from the people around us. It was then I remembered that we were in a crowded room, surrounded by people, and Grant had kissed the breath out of me. I flushed from head to toe at the attention, but he wouldn’t let me pull away.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I shouldn’t have blown up on you. I shouldn’t have done anything. You’re all that matters.”
I stared up at him in confusion. “Who are you, and what have you done with Grant McDermott?”
He laughed that beautiful glorious laugh, and a smile lit up his whole face. It was that damn smile that had won me over in the first place.
“Run away with me,” he murmured.
“What?”
“Run away with me. Let’s get out of here.”
“Where are we going?”
“Anywhere. Everywhere.”
